Nora Almazrooa

Nora Almazrooa is a Ceramic Artist, based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
She has recently completed her MA degree in Ceramics, from The Cardiff School of Art and Design.
She has been negotiating in her work with aspects of Islamic Art, incorporating the symbolism of Arabic Calligraphy, and tackling matters such as gender in a subtle aspect, portraying cultural identity, and allowing the viewer to build layers of narrative. Working in multiples is a significant aspect of her work, she believes that the power of unity through the collaboration of pieces , lies in their plurality and multiplicity.
